We left early in the morning to the state which is also known as the Mountain Country. We also bring rain coats for unprediction's weather there. Along the way at the Mountain Country, we can see Cannon Mountain, The Basin (a natural granite pothole), Canon Cliffs, Profile and Echo Lakes; and the famous Old Man of the Mountain. Also moose sightings are quite common in here. They are often on the move at dawn and dusk, especailly in low lying or swampy areas. These animals are wild and can move quickly and unpredictably, so we drive slowly and hoping to meet them, but unfortunately, we've not seen one:-). The White Mountain National Forest Spectacular natural beauty is everywhere we look, especially along the Kancamas Highway, New England's first National Scenic Byway. Gorgeous!!!! We ready to explore the region on foot, because this 780,000 acre which surrounds Lincoln-Woodstock, is criss-crossed by hundreds of miles of hiking trails. We choose ... to climbed. On a half way to the top, suddenly rain falling dawn....oh..gosh! but the beautiful area, birds singing, and sound of creek encouraged me to stay move to the top. Oh...man, I feel hungry during the track, so Michael offered me some chocolates. Rain keep falling down until we got on top. The mist surrounded the entire area, so we can't see the beautiful view as we hope..oh..well...!! Then, we had lunch on the top of the mountain, it's still rain though:-). On the way down, I picked up lots of colourful maple leaves which was lie down on the wet ground, because I might be have some ideas with those leaves:-). |
