There is a village school called école les Sorbiers, for children aged 4 to 10 (enfantine jusqu'à la quatrième). After that the children must attend a school in one of the neighbouring villages, and a school bus makes several trips every day to pick up and deliver children back to Mies., The school, les Sorbiers is at the top of the village overlooking the apple orchards. It is a beautiful new looking school built in 1995 which thankfully remains free of any damage or graffitti. |
