18/06/1999 - I sent him PARADISE LOST "Lost Paradise" + VOIVOD "Killing Technology", in exchange for Carcass and Gorgorth CDs. 08/08/1999 - He proposes two different trades to me under two different aliases. I refrain from responding to either proposal. 26/08/1999 - Umesh calls me "childish" for posting a threatening message to him publically, via usenet, and then asks for my address once again, because he's "tired of this whole fucking thing". 03/09/1999 - Contacts me under the alias Rob (Berith7@aol.com), from New York, regarding a possible trade involving a Darkthrone LP, against 2 rare CDs I have on my trade list. I agree to the trade, without having him provide references, because I want the damn LP so much. 30/09/1999 - Umesh (as iygrane777@aol.com) sends me a one line email saying "your discs were mailed out this morning, I cannot help you with the other trade" (referring to the Darkthrone LP ripoff scam) Since then, all this fuckwit has done, is try to flood me, and attempt to mock me on Usenet (even publically boasting how he has stolen 4 CDs from me, and how there was "nothing I can do about it". A gutless move, for sure. As long as people know what a pathetic little fuckwit he is, its almost worth sacrificing those 4 CDs. [ * ] To this day, I do not know who "E.R. Bauth" is, nor even if he/she was actively involved in the ripoff. I AM sure, however, that this trade was engineered by Umesh The Untermensch. He stupidly emailed me on the 23/09/1999 (as himself), asking coyly if I was interested in trading for some Darkthrone vinyl, then laughing. 17/05/1999 - Sent him $10 for a Necrophagia digipak. He's admitted to receiving the money, and claims he's sent it, but I've not received it. He's a known ripoff, so I probably deserved this one.

27/10/1999 - Sent him Enslaved/Emperor split in trade for Gorgoroth's "Under The Sign..." album. Responded soon after signalling that he'd received the disc, but had forgotten all about the trade, and to remind him what he owed me. Despite repeated promises, has never sent anything in return.

Mark auctioned off a copy of Morbid Angel's "Domination" on LP to me, via eBay. He then sent me his store's for-sale list, in an attempt to get me to buy more stuff from him. We exchanged a few frustrating "OK, I'll buy this one too" - "Sorry that one's taken, man" type emails, and then 10 days beyond the end of the original auction" decided I was trying to rip him off, cancelled the auction/sale, AND left bad feedback for me on eBay. I explained what happened to ebay support, and they agreed, vetoing the original complaint...so then the loser goes and re-adds the negative feedback. I'll let him have his "last word". Not a ripoff, but definitely a bad trader...and a total fuckwit. |
