What up people, I'm Martin, and this is my bio. I have this entire webpage to inform you about the wonder that is me......so let's begin. I started playing drums in June 1999, when a kick-ass, old-school drum set showed up at my house one day. From there on, it's been in my blood. I used to listen to mostly grunge rock,(you know, that shit that bloomed out of Seattle in '93) and that's how I got my start, listening to Pearl Jam and Nirvana, and trying to play everything I heard. The band all got better together by non-stop practicing and learning every cover we could think of. It wasn't until the summer of 2000 that we really became what some may call a "punk rock" band(I still classify our genre as being spunk, which, for all of you who dont know, is southern punk). At around this time, I started to listen to NOFX and Pennywise, and was totally blown away by the speed and precision of their drummers, and it intised me to learn to play like they did. It was then that the whole band began to evolve into what we are today. I've always had pretty much the same drumset, although now, it's just the snare and floor tom that are still the same old tiger-stripe Slingerland. I added alot to it, so its kind of like a mix-match drum set right now, but I can still kick some drum-ass on it, so I guess that is all that's important. I'd say my biggest influences now are Byron from Pennywise (that guy is fuckin insane on drums), and John from System of a Down (also fuckin nuts). I listen to alot of different types of music these days, and it all goes into my style of drumming.
Enough about me, let's talk about what's really important, like the problems plauging this country and the rest of the world.......................... ..................................Just Kidding! If there's a time to be serious, you can be sure im going to advoid. I am 16 and go to Enloe, which is the biggest piece of magnet crap in the entire county (Fuck Enloe!) but there are a lot of cool people there (Hi Cat!) and also alot of complete assholes, but they dont deserve mentioning. I have always listened to music but its mostly been total crap that I'd listen to just because the rest of my family would, but FUCK THEM!!!! Now I listen to the good shit that I've already mentioned, which come to think of, Im now jjst repeating myself, and I'm sure your alreay bored to death of me.
