Description: Formerly known as the "hideous, ugly, disgusting, knife-throwing man," this is yet another repulsive creation of Irkalla. It is a genetic nightmare with two impulses, obedience to Irkalla and a horrid desire to kill, maim, maul, dismember, etc. He(?) was made in Irkalla's private dimension along with Obsidian, but she was defeated before he was unleashed upon her enemies, luckily for them.
Origin: Madross was inspired by the Newborn Alien from Alien Resurrection and the classic Frankenstien. Influences also came from the Scarecrow from the animated Batman show. He was also inspired by a mutated version of Jack the Ripper called Jose Manuel on the video game Nightmare Creatures, who threw a host of oversized, bloody steak knives at the heroes. |
