Inspecting Your BMW
I'm working on making a web page where BMW owners can come and find out how to do some maintenance on by themselves.  My ultimate goal is to gather information where anyone can find out how to do basic maintenance no matter which model they have.  From 2002's to Z8, this site will have info from knowing how to check the belts to changing their spark plugs. I don't know much about the various BMW models, so I will like for anyone that knows how to do any procedure on any of the models to email me.  Just let me know which car and what procedure you would like to write about.  I don't want a bunch of people writing up about changing oil for a 3 series.  So just email me and I'll let you know if I could use that particular procedure.  Of course full credit will be given to you.  Ok realisticly this site might end up only covering the e36 series cars (because thats what I have).  Also links to other sites that describe various procedures would be appreciated.  email mike_hsu1@yahoo.com
It is definetly possible to do at least a few items on the inspection list.  Like check headlights, tailights, brake lights, etc.  That's easy just turn on the lights and go around your car.  Maybe quite a few of you will end up wondering why is it so expensive to do these inspections (at least I do).

Disclamer:  Maintain at your own risk.  I'm not responsible if you blow your engine up.  I'm not joking about the blowing up your engine bit.  It is possible to melt down your engine if you even do a basic oil change incorrectly.

- I changed my tranny fluid, but I forgot to get pics.  It is similar to a differential fluid change.  You just have to know which plugs to use....
