2. Use Ghostscript to convert WORD files, postscript files or Text files to tiff files for the Fax'ed press releases. The Ghostscript name is an off shoot of Adobe Corporations name of Postscript. Ghostscript basicly takes postscript files and converts them to tiff so they can be printed.
3. Use HylaFax to take the tiff file generated by Ghostscript and to dial all the phone numbers in send list and send the fax. HylaFax probably uses the cu command to send the faxes.

   For this we need:

   • A Linux or Unix machine
   • A telephone to hook to the machines modem
4. To send press releases via e-mail use a perl program that invokes sendmail to do the job
