If you rode dirt bikes duing this time, I hope this will help you remember when there were more than a half-dozen or so brand names. When you could often go to the races and see a bike you'd never heard of before: A Dalesman, say, or a Cotton, or a Monark or a Greeves. Or a Stormer. Bikes that were as individual as the small teams of enthusiasts that designed and built them.
