I'm the 50 something "young" man that drives Dr. Syn about. Together we are sometimes wet, sometimes cold and sometimes frightened, but then the sun comes out, the wind settles and you feel you want to sail on for ever. AND WHO WAS Dr.SYN?  Many years ago, down on the haunting area of Kent known as The Marsh, there lived the god fearing Vicar of Dymchurch and a finer man you'd never meet. Hobbies and interests include sailing, sea fishing, engineering and the PC and now metal detecting (Silver Sabre) - and of course my grandchildren Lucy & Finlay

I have a pet shrimp called Albert that lives in the dustbin, he only has one leg so he can't escape. Every Tuesday (dustbin day) I have to remember to get him out. He lives on spiders and the ocassional apple pie. He doesn't like shrimp paste.
