Poetry and Songs of Loss, Rejection, and Such
- Thoughtful and Hopeless

- A song I wrote about regret and the pleas for a second chance. Written October 9, 2004 on a bus to Boston.
- My Rainy Tuesday

- Odds
- A song I wrote (with the help of Fil) for Hampshire Idol. The regret of what went wrong and hopes for what may be saved. Written November 13-14, 2004.
- Diamond
- A song I wrote about a girl who I doubt will ever love me the way I love her. Written November 15, 2004.
- The All for All
- News that makes you sting might make you say something that you've been meaning to. Also might make you fall back into addiction. Different style from what I usually do, but this is actually the style I've been aiming for and missing lately. Less of a poem and more of a song. I also don't think I've used repeated chorus before (Except for Light of Day, but I'm not gonna talk about that here). Written January 26, 2005.
- What You Do
- A song I wrote about doing what's right for a friend at your own expense. Written January 24, 2005.
- The Losing Battle
- Written in the middle of a rough night, made my world a better place for that moment. Written January 8, 2005
