Just A Friend

The party was thick and you smoothed down your dress a little more. You looked out at your family and smiled, once resting on your cousin and his bandmate, Lance chatting quietly in the corner. You were waiting for Chris, actually.

Joey came to you soon and yall talked about lost memories and better days, smiling when you revealed the crush on the eldest member of his band.

"Well, he should be coming soon..." he chuckled and then looked out the window, winking at you. "I think this is him now." he mumbled and you followed him to the door.

When the large oak door opened, it didn't reveal the fine looking Chris like you had expected. Instead all it showed was 2 persons on a motorcycle. Your heart was in your stomach and you realized that you had jumped much too quickly.

"Oh maybe not." Joey mumbled and he noticed your frown. "Oh!" he laughed and you smiled though you were sure there was a big ole question mark above your head.

You looked back to the motorcycle and watched as the driver took off his helmet, exposing a sweaty Justin, decked out in a leather jacket and some Timbalands. You turned to Joey with a smirk.

"So Justin has a girlfriend now?" you asked, turning back to the pair, the other rider still masked.

Joey laughed. "Eh, I wouldn't say that." he mumbled and turned away, walking back into the social gathering.

You watched as the second person raised their helmet, high cheekbones, clear blue eyes and a brown mane cluing you in immediately.

Your mouth dropped as JC climbed off the motorcycle, landing on his flip flop clad feet, and your eyes widened as you saw the anklet through the slice of jeans. In fact, both pant legs were shredded but patches of pictures hid anything extremely revealing. Pictures of Angie Stone, Ella Fitzgerald, Diana Ross, Madonna and Hilary Clinton were just a few that were scattered. And right on the crotch, the part you really wanted to see, was a spread patch of Elvis Presley. Your eyes slid up the brunette's body and you smirked at the old Bilal shirt that you guessed not to be old but definitely faded. You narrowed your eyes because it fit so well.

"Hey sweetie!" Justin smiled when they came your way and you nodded. You looked at JC who had a wide smile. He bent and gave your cheek a kiss, and you tried to hide the tinge of pink on them.

When you turned around, noticing you were just standing around, you hadn't caught sight of the two and suddenly you were fascinated with them.

"JC's not all the way straight, just to get that out of the way."

You turned around, a bit shocked at the familiar voice. Chris stood behind you with a smile and you blushed again.

"I noticed that."

Chris laughed. "Of course you did."

You and him danced 5 times that day and you cursed your cousin when you spotted him watching you. It was a set up but you were enjoying the hell out of it.

You gave up when an overly sped up song came on and you knew your feet couldn't move that fast enough even if you wanted them too.

You went over to the living room, to get some more beer and you saw them. They were sitting on the couch innocently, talking to your uncle and you smiled because they seemed so interested but you knew they weren't.

You didn't notice until later that JC's hand was resting on Justin's back, his thumb making small circles and you cocked your head to the side. Then the pale hand slipped beneath the jacket and shirt, your eyebrow raising instinctively.

JC was leaning in, whispering to Justin when you walked away, leaving them with one last glance. Now that you thought about it, Justin didn't seem all that straight either.

Later, when you excused yourself from a friendly conversation to use the bathroom you sighed as you reached the top of the stairs. You liked being with family but too many people at one time was a bit overwhelming.

Your foot hit the plush carpeting when you heard the soft giggle. You took your foot back and leaned forward slowly, not wanting to get caught, your anxious eyes spotting two figures against the opposite wall. You leaned forward a little more to make out who and you were a bit surprised, but not totally, to find JC pushed along the wall, Justin facing him. Your brow furrowed as you watched them interact. JC giggled and Justin chuckled his hand holding him up by JC's head. They looked like high school sweethearts after school, the couple just hanging out.

You itched to say something schmoopy but you didn't want to ruin the moment. And besides there wasn't much more to say because you held your breath when Justin leaned forward, capturing the brunette's mouth in a kiss that made you melt. Your body wanted to respond to the beautiful picture but you held it in, scooting up closer so you could see better.

You gasped inaudibly when the glimmer of slick tongues shined from their joined mouths' and your hands came to the banister as hands wandered effortlessly over clothes and under them, sighs so quiet you could hardly hear them over the beating in your ears.

JC turned his head and Justin trailed slow, tempting kisses down his long column, your thighs squeezing together as you watched the display.

You closed your own eyes, imagining that JC was looking at you when Justin was marking him tenderly. You saw in your mind Justin's tongue sliding against the taut skin obscenely, his eyes on his prize. The blonde's hands were making JC moan, to you and you stepped out, being able to see them more clearly and you realized Justin had a hand in JC's pants and that was the reason for the sudden panting.

"Shit."

Your eyes popped open as you were now looking into dark blue eyes. "Oh." you said, obtusely.

Justin fidgeted as he pushed off of JC. "You, you." You looked to JC to see him looking a little dazed. You squinted when you saw the man's fly open and suddenly you were a little confused and a lot turned on.

"I didn't mean to." you mumbled and started for the downstairs when a hand caught your arm.

"Wait, I... we, we were just-"

You smiled and nodded. "Its alright. I didn't see anything." you lied and the grateful look Justin gave you made not being able to watch the rest of the show alright after all.

You walked downstairs and Chris came up to you, his eyes bright and lazy, and they slid over to the couple coming down the stairs soundlessly, leaning into each other.

"Its funny that they're just friends." Chris slurred and you smiled to yourself.

Just friends, your ass.
