Our day has finally come. On August 15, 2003 at 4:15 P.M. the hearts and souls of Michael Lee Davis II and Jessika Allie were brought together and made into a whole being. Both the ceremony and the reception were held in Bayside, Ontario at Occasions By The Bay. There was a count of 40 people including friends and family that attended the wedding.

On the day of the rehearsal, the biggest blackout in history occured. over 130 million people were without power. This, of course, set our plans into turmoil. Luckily, the power kicked back on at about 10:00 PM that night. The next day at our wedding, we had just got through the wedding party introductions when the power shut off again. Everything still worked out for us though, as we had a nice candlelight dinner. The best man even brought the car around to the side door so that we could have dinner music. As if things couldn't be more perfect, the power turned back on right as the last speech was being given, so we had the DJ back just in time for the first dance. The whole reception went completely well, even though Jessika's family is French Canadian and Michael's family is American. Everybody was mingling with each other and the Groom's Father and Bride's Mother were dancing an old fashioned fast dance together.
