Montreal, July 2nd-4th, 2005

Old Montreal was founded in 363 years ago. When I first got there, I stared at this wall and this building
wondering if they'd been there since inception:

I fell in love with the dark narrow brick streets in old Montreal. Here's a pic of Rue Saint Paul in Old Montreal:

It was a bit disturbing to see ancient buildings overtaken by the new (guess that's progress):
