This tractor has a partial cab, which would make it handy to use in bad weather, but since there is no weight on the back of the tractor, the traction in back is terrible. It has the Case "Draft-O-Matic" three point hitch, and I am working on mounting something to use for weight back there. When I got it, the generator was not charging, the wrong carburetor was installed, the light wiring was torn out, the windshield wiper inoperative, and the hitch lift cylinder leaks internally.

Since then, I replaced the carburetor with the correct one (included in the box with the owner's and parts manuals), and have fixed most of the electrical stuff, but the hitch hydraulics and rear weight are still on-going projects. If I ever locate one, I would like to mount a Case 23 backhoe on back, both for the utility of the implement, as well as the weight. I happened to have a can of "Safety Yellow" paint and used it on the cab and hood since the image above was taken. It doesn't match the Case yellow, but it looks a lot better than the rust! For now, I have attached a platform carrier to the three point hitch and placed 6 Farmall wheel weights on it; this provides sufficient weight to greatly improve the traction.
