We all need to be able to forgive
others, and we also need to ask that others can forgive us when we do wrong. No Human is perfect, and I want others to Forgive me , when I do wrong. Most Importantly, I want God to Forgive me of my Own Sin(s). Therefore, in turn, I Must Forgive Other People. This is "Right" in the Eyes of God.
We need to ALL value
Humans and Situations Seriously.
We are each created Special in the Eyes of God.
We are all fragile.
We are ALL going to make "Mistakes" and slip at times. We are Only Human. However, when it is "Us" that needs to be Forgiven, We then need to acknowledge when we have done something wrong, out of line, and possibly hurtful to another Human. We need to feel and be Accountable to step up and do what is right. No-one can MAKE you feel sorrow for your doings. That HAS to be in your own heart. As we Mature and spend time with the Lord, this gets easier. When we do wrong, it becomes more clear and "Convicting" to us ourselves. We should so much *Desire*, in our Hearts, to make things "Right"
*God knows and searches the Heart of All*
*Repent* first before our Lord Jesus. Then, if this is some-one we are in contact with, let them know you are *Sorry*. People can NOT ever be *Perfect*. We can NOT expect them to be. So many people live with the Impression "In order to be a Christian and Do Right, They HAVE to be *Perfect*. That is just impossible! But, we can ALL be a Striver of doing what is right in the eyes of the Lord Jesus.
Sometimes, I think, we tend get so wrapped up in our own needs and feelings that we tend to forget the other side(s), and the other person(s) involved feelings and needs. How they too, may be hurting just as much as we are on the inside.
When we spend time "Focusing" on others and their faults and what they have done wrong, we are NOT paying attention to our own selves. Nobody is perfect. {Luke 6:42}
Although sometimes, we just can NOT be in the persons life that we are Forgiving,
{Ask God to Provide that answer for you}
Only HE can give the answer to you.
If someone hurts us, we DO Forgive them{Daily}. That is the right and Godly thing to do. Forgiving some-one does NOT come with the condition that we HAVE to remain in their life. Just that we have Sincerely Forgiven them.
Sometimes, the purpose of our Forgiving (on one or both ends of the situation) is to bring a "Closure" to something that happened. Closure is often times much needed, for people to feel at Peace and be able to clear UNhealthy thoughts in their minds.
Forgiving Some-one Else does NOT mean we are
Forgetting or Excusing the Sin(s). We are doing what JESUS would do.
Seventy times Seven times "A DAY"
we MUST Forgive Others. It is not up to us to "Choose" who we Will Forgive and who we Will Not. Forgiveness includes NON Christians AND Our Brothers & Sisters in Christ Jesus. We have to Seek Forgiveness Ourselves & We have to Forgive ALL. Whether it is something that is current, or something that happened last week, last month, 6 months ago, or Years Ago.
We HAVE TO FORGIVE.
We ARE Commanded by GOD to FORGIVE ONE ANOTHER.
MATTHEW 18:21,22-
Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
Especially, Yes, "Family Members" No matter what, we HAVE TO FORGIVE. We are to "Honor" our Mother and Father. Those are God's Words.
The other thing we HAVE to keep in mind: What if that person we were angry at or holding grudges against Dies, Before We Have Forgiven Them. Most times, this leads into "Guilt"
Death, Loss and Grief are hard enough, no matter what, without adding this Issue to it. Issues we then face and are forced to work through.
This really does happen to people.
If We Die and Have to Face Jesus - Before We Have Forgiven Them -
We HAVE to Answer and be Accountable for that.
When Jesus comes back, we NEED to be ready.
*Remember, Many Times, the People who have Treated us the Worst and Hurt us the Most-God Wants Us to Love and Bless the Most-
Please Pray to be able to Forgive others and know that God knows your
hurts, fears and worries. HE knows everything.
~Forgiveness is OFTEN a HUGE Blessing in the Life of the Person you are Forgiving and in your Own Life~
All of the tears that you cry, all of your hurts, all of that will be taken
away when it is our time to be called home to our Father God in Heaven.
Forgiving others is sometimes so very hard, and God Is able to help you
to be able to fully forgive.
Even if the person knows that you forgive them ,and they dont accept your
forgiveness {you yourself} WILL be set free.
Sometimes, the person who we are hurt or angered by does not even know that they said
or did something to hurt or anger you. Humans, often times, see the same situation two
totally different ways, because we all our own special person. It does
not matter who is right, or who is wrong, when it comes to the fact that
you yourself are hurting or angry at some-one in your heart. Alot of times, I do not even think anger is the right word. I think hurt far outweighs anger in most situations. We feel as though our heart has been stomped on, and we often feel betrayed by some-one or some situation.
It is important
to Forgive anyone in your life that you are carrying anger, bitterness
or ANY unhealthy feelings for. Full Reconciliation MUST come from both ends. {What takes place AFTER Forgiveness..How much you will be in touch, how close you will be..etc.}
Lord Jesus, I don't have a smile today, would you please give me your smile? I know that he will.
I know, alot of times, if we really would do and act upon what sometimes comes to our minds as the first to do (which is what I call the Earthly, Carnal Minded thing we often want to do) would be to lash out at the person who has caused us pain, hurt, and anger. That is NOT going to help anything at all. If anything, it is going to make the situation worse. Not only for you, but for the other person as well. Most importantly, -I always ask myself- is the Lord smiling down at me when and if I were to do that? I know the answer to that is NO. The Lord is not happy and smiling with an act such as that.
Biting our tongue and walking away is the best way to handle these kinds of things, before the whole situation gets way out of control and very ugly. Most importantly, hurt and chaos is UnGodly. Until we can gather our thoughts through the Lord and Prayer, keep a distance. The Lord WILL flood us with Love and Kindness ( HE WILL) Allow the Lord to move in the situation, so that we can Forgive, is the best thing to do. NOT repaying evil for evil, hurt for hurt, cruelty for cruelty.
If this is some-one that you are CLOSE to, it is better to Maturely Talk and Share with them "AT that TIME" about what IS Bothering you, Hurting you, Upsetting you, or Making You Angry. Instead of keeping it all balled up inside of you, until you One Day "Explode" Then your sorry that you did not handle it better. There is always a Loving way to handle whatever situation we are in.
Sadly, some people thrive on causing a rucus, confusion, and hurt. All that we can do is Pray for them. It is US as True Christians who should NOT strive on any of these things and remain Faithful to the Lord. Being Godly is the right thing to do. We have to answer for what we do, to GOD, not for what some-one else does and how some-one else chooses to act and live.
If you are feeling that you need to Repent for something or many things, the Lord knows your heart. He is Faithful to Forgive you, if you humbly and sincerely ask Him for Forgiveness.
Our Actions, Reactions, and Words should speak for who we really are in Christ Jesus. We are children of Light and NOT Darkness.

those that have hurt you and caused you ANY pain.

Forgiveness Prayer.
