| What does 5150 stand for you ask? 5150 is the police code for "emergency or criminal insanity". I believe we started calling ourselves 5150 sometime in 2000. A couple of the guys were thinking of a name for our group to put on their cars, and 5150 came up because David had a snowboard made by the company, 5150. The name became official when Bernard created Team5150@YahooGroups.com where we could all e-mail each other with information concerning upcoming events. The name sounded good so we stuck with it... plus some of us really are insane!!!! Woo hoo!!!! |
| Do You Remember? Our team lost our first two games and were eliminated on the first day of the tournament. We were blown out by over 20 points in both games! Calvin and Timmy were 5150 members for the weekend and had to temporarily take on the burden of being part of our hopeless team. Even Minh was ashamed to put on the jersey for the picture! |

| Did You Know? This was the first year that we had our gift exchange with just the guys. Based on the fact that the guys managed to stay close after high school (and on the fact that this could guarantee us that we would get exactly what we wanted! Just kidding!), we decided with some of the girls that this was better. The girls were still present and the presents were mighty good! |
| Do You Remember? Antonio was too embarrassed to wear his Spiderman tights, so he wore shorts over his costume! Vivian made Tai's Dopey costume. Danny won for "Scariest Costume". My Superman costume won "Best Costume". Could it be because Tai, Minh, and John were judges or was it because of my awesome hairdo?! |
