We both have had our share
Of trials in the past
But also learned lessons
That will our lifetime last
So all that time once spent
Dwelling on choices we've made
No longer needs to consume our being
Because the future has yet to be laid
I hope that we can make the plans
To build a new foundation
Because you have touched my heart more
Than anyone else of God's creation
I thank Him every chance I get
For the wonderful moments we share
Never before have I felt this kind of
Love, so beautiful and rare.
