Our class has a very special friend. His name is Brown Bear. Brown Bear gets very lonely at St. Lucie Elementary when the children go home for the weekend. Brown Bear said, he would love to go to a different child's house every weekend. We thought this was a great idea! When your child brings Brown Bear home, please write down all his adventures with you and your family in our Brown Bear journal. He will arrive at your home on Friday afternoon in a Bear tote bag. The bag will include the following items: Brown Bear, a journal, as well as two special bear books you can read as a family. Brown Bear is allowed to go everywhere and do everything you do over the weekend.
When your child returns Brown Bear on Monday, Mrs. Miller will read about his weekend adventures to the class. Thank you and have lots of fun!
