Hogwarts History
As the oldest Harry Potter roleplay site on the web, the site fondly known as "Milo Carson's Hogwarts" has a long history- both in and out of character! Created soon after the first publications of Harry Potter by Milo Carson, the site was quiet for a long time, but as the popularity of the books escalated, so too did the HP roleplay community! Milo mentored the new players and made sure that the site got its foot in the door, so to speak, of this increasingly popular creative outlet!
With the turn of the century, the site turned a new leaf too! Under management now by Blake Sandora, one of the sites oldest members, "Milo Carson's Hogwarts" flourished with the still increasing popularity of J.K. Rowling's novels. Member numbers and activities were higher than ever before, and "Milo Carson's Hogwarts" earned a place in the hearts of many a roleplayer and Harry Potter fan.
As with all things, time brings change. Lives move on both in and out of character, and many of the original roleplayers from this site have decided that it's time to pass the game on to new characters, new players, new storylines. As the new site manager, I hope you will enjoy "Milo Carson's Hogwarts" as I and many others have enjoyed it- and develop your characters into fully fleshed personalities that will be a part of you forever! I hope you appreciate the ties that the new site will retain with its previous years of activity, including the adherence to the classic layout. Please take the time to read and acknowledge the site's storyline history.
