Yang Guo, Condor Hero, vs Xiao Long Nu, his wife
	Yang Guo drew his sword. Across the arena a door opened to reveal...his wife, Xiao Long Nu, 2 swords in hand. Both of them were surprised. Then Yang Guo spoke up. "I suppose you're my opponent. Well, here you go." He picks up 3 sticks and tosses two of them to Xiao Long Nu, who drops her swords and catchs them. Yang Guo then thrusts at Xiao Long Nu with a lunge. The thrust is parried and Xiao Long Nu slashes at Yang Guo with her stick.      Turning his shoulder Yang Guo wraps the stick in his empty sleeve. He then tugs on the makeshift sword. Xiao Long Nu chose to go with the force, and she leaps at Yang Guo with a flying kick.
Yang Guo, having been in many fights himself, jumps over the kick and attempts a thurst of wrath, or as close as one can get to the thrust of wrath with one arm. Xiao Long Nu blocks and gets her stick into a bind with Yang Guo's. However she is not as strong and her stance is weakening. Yang suddenly lets go and swings his stick at Xiao Long Nu's side, but she blocks while thrusting at him with her other stick, still tangled in his sleeve, forcing him to turn to avoid the stick. Yang Guo then tries several slashes, all of which are either blocked or parried. He then tries a cavalry saber slash, done with the back of the hand facing upward, then suddenly slashing upwards in a gutting move. That too is blocked.      From her stick's position Xiao Long Nu thrusts at Yang Guo's stomach. Yang Guo turns to avoid it, ripping off a part of his sleeve in the process and freeing Xiao Long Nu's stick, and cuts at Xiao Long Nu. She parries with her other stick and catches the stick between her two. Turning around she sweep-kicks at Yang Guo, who jumps over and breaks his own stick in half, leaving a stump in Xiao Long Nu's sticks. Yang Guo then uses dagger techniques, as well as short sword and long sword ones, to gain the upper hand. Turns out those sage books Huang Rong had me read did do good after all, he mused. The Art of War says: Those who make many calculations prevail and those who make few calculations do not. However, if I am able to make him prepare, I can prepare against few and be safe and force my opponent to prepare against many (Note: Not exactly the best translation, and I'm not sure if that is what it actualty says). Yang Guo has a larger selection of moves he can use, and Xiao Long Nu has to guard against all that. She slashes at Yang Guo, who meets it with his own slash, and breaks her stick. Xiao Long Nu then throws her stump at him, but Yang Guo turned his shoulder and his fluttering sleeve catches it. She slashes with her other stick. Yang Guo holds up his stick, blocking it and using his strength advantage to force it lower, then suddenly thrusts forward and cuts upwards in a Bowie knife maneuver.      Having won the fight, Yang Guo then hugs his wife, and climbs to the summit of Mount Hua.
