"My opponent must be approaching." he thinks to himself. Powering up to Super Saiyan, he waits.
Meanwhile Luke makes it up the mountain. Trunks notices and whips his sword out, calling to Luke.
"I am Trunks! Luke Skywalker, I am here to fight you!"
"But I do not wish to fight you, Trunks. Why do we battle?" Luke replies.
"So we must battle then? But this will merely be a duel. We will not fight to kill."
"Agreed." answers Trunks. He then charges at Luke. Luke, activating his own lightsaber, blocks Trunks's swing. Trunks pushes harder, his ki supplementing his own strength. Luke draws upon the Force, not letting Trunks have the strength advantage.
Suddenly Trunks kicks back. Quickly charging up an energy burst, he shoots it at Luke. Luke blocks with a Force-barrier, which is punched through, and is forced to block his his lightsaber. Trunks then charges forward again, and whacks Luke's lightsaber out of his hand with his own sword. Luke jumps back, then summons his saber back with the Force. Trunks doesn't see it coming until it pierces him in the leg, then fly back into Lukes hand to point at his chest.
"I see I have been defeated. Good luck, then, Luke, in defeating Cell." Trunks flies down the mountain, while Luke climbs up to the Round 2 arena to the Mount Hua Tournament.
