Gohan had less time to brood, and Bulma less to worry over her son's condition and how little she really knew about Saiya-jins. This concern in particular had been aroused when she'd tried to determine the position of the children Trunks was carrying with her medical machinery. So far as all the equipment she had could tell, Trunks wasn't pregnant. There was nothing abnormal in the scans. The only time she had any kind of reading indicating the existence of the children was when she had been using what was essentially an overblown scouter. Because of the failure of her technology, she was becoming increasingly concerned over how vague Vejiita had been on the birthing process. Distractions were a good thing, in her case. Trunks had decided that the best area to move to would be in the forest, on the other side of the mountains west of the city. He didn't want to be too close, and Gohan's current assignment was to scout out a promising site, while Bulma figured materials and building plans. The Jinzouningen had left the wilderness basically alone, except for a few spots early on, before they'd decided it was boring, or when people fled into it. Gohan had tried to train Trunks in areas where they could do little damage to the scenery. The practice was party to preserve the areas, but mostly an effort to hide their movements and habits. There were few others who could do the kind of damage to the landscape they were capable of. Trunks was satisfied for the moment, even if he hadn't gotten much closer to Gohan. But he had everything planned. Considering how well things were going so far, he was confident that events would continue to move as anticipated. First, he had to keep Gohan thinking about his children, which work on the house should be doing admirably. Second, get him to think of them -as- his children, not objects. Trunks had -seen- the look on Gohan's face the first time he "touched" them. After that.. it was the crucial part. |
