| Feeding the Flames part 7.5 By: Juuchan Trunks didn't manage to find Gohan on his own. After nearly wiping out the kitchen, he discovered that he was still very tired, and curled up on the couch in the living room, falling quickly to sleep. Gohan, who had shut himself up in his room with a copy of the Heat information, tried not to notice Trunks' ki moving about. He wasn't sure how much of the information regarding Trunks' probably psychological state was accurate, and was a little surprised that Trunks hadn't shown up immediately to yell at him. Of course, he was likely quite traumatized, no matter what the file said, and wanted to stay as far away from him as possible, Gohan thought with a rueful sigh. The parts of him that had been warring with each other since this whole Heat ordeal started were still at it. Overall, he thought that he should stay up here, and not force Trunks to deal with him any more than necessary. A sizable, opposing portion, however, thought that the other part was hiding like a coward, and that he ought to go down, get it over with, and see how Trunks was really doing. The smallest part was the one he considered irrational, which wanted him to go down there, find Trunks and… claim him, somehow, among other things. This was the portion of himself that had managed to take the driver's seat while Trunks had been in his room, and he was trying his hardest to shut it away. While he did manage to concentrate on the papers for a time, his attention was torn from them as he suddenly realized that Trunks' ki was slowly decreasing, and had been for some time. Before he thought of it logically, Gohan began preparing to go after whatever had managed to sneak into the house and attack him. Then he remembered that the baby would be, essentially, feeding off his ki. But.. Gohan concentrated on Trunks, then set off downstairs as he reached a swift conclusion. Trunks hadn't really recovered from the ordeal of the Heat, so he'd need more energy to deal with the child than he currently had. According to the papers, this was what Gohan was for. |
