Forewarning

First of all, if this introduction makes any sense to you, your probably the voodoo lady, or of some distant relation to her. If after reading this, you completely confused, you're on the right track. After, or before (whichever takes you fancy) reading this little introductory story, it would probably be best to go to the History page (on the right) just so you can understand what's going on.

Introduction

Okay, if you have found this site, then you should hopefully love Monkey Island or at least vaguely know about it. if you have no idea what I am talking about, leave this site, buy the Monkey island Bounty pack Along with Escape from Monkey Island, play them, complete them, and then come back here. if you are not interested, I hope to never see your sorry hide again.

I would also like to point out now that I do know of any movie to do with Monkey Island or based on that story and this is just an idea. I am not saying that there is definitely going to be a Monkey Island movie, and then again, I don't what is going on with Lucas Arts, they may just be doing so as we speak, I don't know. this is just an idea.

Right, now that we're rid of the idiots who saw this and actually thought there is and island out there called Monkey Island (okay, so there is, but it's not what were talking about.) I would now like to make very clear that first, I am in no way associated with Lucas Arts Entertainment Company and take no responsibility for the creation of these characters, locations or story as all belong to Lucas arts Entertainment Company.

So imagine if you will...

Story

...After the great success of 'Star Wars' and 'Indiana Jones' along with large array of brilliant movies from Lucas Films, George Lucas is sitting in his little armchair wondering what movie to do next. suddenly he hears the phone ring. he picks it up. It happens to be the Head of the Story department at the Monkey Island Wing of the Lucas Studios.

'Sir! what about a Movie about Mo-'

'I already told you, I'm not doing a movie on Monkey Island. It'll never sell!'

'But sir, what if we did the movie about the first game, the Secret of Monkey Island? We'd change bit around to make it more of a movie than a game and then follow on the rest from there? we could have an all start cast!'

George thought about this. many of his movies had been made into games, 'Star Wars', 'Indie', and more, but this may be the first time one of his games would be made into a movie. Quite a lot of games that took that role flopped in the box office or has anyone forgot the 'Space Invaders' movie. Two hours of some block tank shooting at these block space ships underneath block...um...blocks.

But this would be different, not may adventure games had this done to them, at least Monkey island had a story already, I mean, why the hell were those space ships invading in the first place.

He caved in 'Come by my office in the morning, and we'll discuss things, but I still haven't said yes yet!'

And there it was born, the movie Saga of Monkey Island.
