PIECE OF MYSELF

Gave a piece of myself

for the knowledge of you.

Now I’m more whole

than I ever knew.

Opened my world up to you,

with an unconditional view.

Magnetized by you.

Enamored by your essence,

my knees . . . They buckle,

under the weight of desire.

Captivated by your humble spirit,

my soul yearns to know

your compassion.

And your passion.

Our strength has allowed me

to witness the power of truth.

The faith in destiny, when guiding

our dreams through.

Not only have I found

my soul’s mate in you,

I have found pieces of

my own soul through you.

And so I thank you.

what pure love can do.

What heights can be reached.

Because mine are unlimited

with you.

We’re so tight,

it’s like we’re in the same skin.

Some can’t even comprehend.
