ASP is the Appalachia Service Project. We do not help, we serve for helping someone, you know that there is nothing they can do for you, Serving someone, you know ther eis something they can do for you in return. They may not be able to give us gifts, or build us a roof...but we don't need those things either. In return for our services, these people have given us many things. They have given us faith, friendships, thanks, realization, and the list goes on. We were sent to West Virginia to help people who needed help, we were sent to build roofs and floors...we came home with a renewed sence of faith and awareness. These are the stories of ASP 2001. |
