| DOUBT |
| "Ever since arriving in Sable, even before this, I have noticed something that I often find disturbing and it is doubt. Often self doubt. I see it in young fiends and sometimes even in those who are older." "You might be wondering why this troubles me and in order to illustrate this I must tell you a story about myself. I will attempt to make it concise as to not bore the whole lot of you." "When I left home to venture on my own I found myself afraid and full of anger that I could not control. Eventually I began to feel some need for something that I could not quite understand." "At this time of doubt I was drawn into the light, having been led to believe that my evil ways were shameful and that the light would better guide me." "Dare I say I fell in love with a paragon. Soon, however, I realized that I was more miserable than ever and that the answer was to be found by walking in a path of darkness again, and to find my place there." "Of course I had to kill the paragon male that I had loved. He had become so possessively in love with me that there was no choice, but that is a whole other story." "My point is, we often have times in our lives where we doubt ourselves or where we are temporarily weak. With a strong paragon presence as we have here in Sable, this can be dangerous." "Perhaps you are thinking to yourself, "I do not show this weakness. I am not in a positon to be swayed this way." Perhaps not, but many others are whether they can admit to it or not. And trust me, from experience I can tell you that certain paragons are out there seeking out the weak and will attempt to instill thoughts of shame and guilt in those weaker souls." "Teach them to be proud of what they are and to bear no shame or doubt." "A friend of mine was recently warned to stay away from naughty, evil girls like me - so I know this sort of coersion is happening every day around us." "Look around you for those who may be seeking guidance, who need a gentle nudge, or perhaps a swift kick in the ass." "Watch especially for those with an unnatural fondness for paragons because believe me, those paragons will make false promises of unconditional love and peace, virtue and truth and these such promises can take a stronghold on those in doubt." "Remind them that in the dark they can find honour, power, control, loyalty, unity, companionship... all that they need or desire." "Teach them to be proud of what they are and to bear no shame or doubt." "There is a confused fiend female in my own guild who I know as being targetted for conversion as we speak because of her open affections to several paragons..." "Lavith and some others have begun this tradition of gathering us as a community to these Rallies which very much strengthen our cause, but do not let this sense of unity go as you walk from this home." "We speak here today about increasing our power and gaining strength. We tend to focus on our strong points but let us not forget to identify our weaknesses or vulnerabilities.
