Mission Statement

 In present economic and social situation in the RF and CIS pensioners, disabled veterans, their dependents and families have become the most vulnerable part of population, sensitive to the dramatic ongoing changes in the country. There were and are many attempts to support this part of society. We understand that we can not help to every and all people in need. We want to grant our aid to those who served for peace, helping others and now need help themselves.

To achieve our goals we are open for cooperation in various forms and would be grateful for any offers of aid and joined projects. On our part we are obliged to provide all required reports confirming distribution of the received aid within the frames of certain programs.

While creating the Fund Founders have targeted the following main tasks that, from our point of view, have no adequate coverage and public attention in our society.

  • To promote the principles of the United Nations;

  • To perpetuate the memories and deeds of our fallen comrades who lost their lives IN THE SERVICE OF PEACE and to let Peacekeeping Veterans and their families know that this Fund exists for their benefit;

  • To co-operate with other National and International Charity Organizations having comparable aims and objects;

  • To assist disabled and needy Peacekeeping Veterans, their dependents and widows. By helping them to secure adequate pensions, allowances, grants and war gratuities and providing charity aid.

  • To help Veterans in their post mission rehabilitation and employment;

  • To encourage, promote, engage in or support National and regional services for charitable purposes;

  •  To promote studies and publications on USSR/Russia participation in the United Nations Peace-keeping operations;

  • To raise and co-ordinate funds for assisting those mentioned in the preceding paragraphs;
