Someone has tampered with the Weyr's threadcharts, but who? Nobody knows for sure, but rumors and suspicion are begining to spread. Many think that it may have been someone from another Weyr attempting to sabotage Mirror Lake, but so far this has gone unproven.

The result of Lillith's flight was a bit of a surprise to everyone. Some people feel resentful of the fact that an outsider could win their queen, while others agree that a bit of new blood is good for the dragons. One thing is certain, however, if K'rynn disliked the old-fashioned S'lius before, she certainly hates him now. What will happen between her and Catlyn? Only time will tell.



News

In Character 5.23.1286: Lillith has risen, and was caught by S'lius' Ruslath. 5.17.1286: Threadfall arrived at Lyra Cove earlier than expected, and the riders were hard-pressed to handle the fall amidst the chaos. As it turned out, the reason the Weyr was ill-prepared was because someone had sabotaged them by tampering with the threadcharts. 4.20.1286: Mirror Lake has a new queen, and a new goldrider: Zelisseth and Giaeli. 4.20.1286: Liyanth's clutch has hatched: 8 greens, 8 blues, 4 browns, 4 bronzes and 1 gold. 4.14.1286: K'rynn is Mirror Lake's newest Wingleader and Council Member. 2.24.1286: Liyanth has clutched! 25 eggs total, including 1 gold.

Out of Character 5/1/06: With the begining of our newest Weyr-wide plot, we've also introduced a new contest. Every member (with the exception of a few who are privy to details of the plot) may submit 1 guess as to which player character (no NPCs) is sabotaging the Weyr. It could be anybody, and players are welcome to submit their guess at any time, but they only get one chance, and the first player to correctly guess the perpetrator will win a gold firelizard for one of their characters. The results will be revealed as the storyline reaches its conclusion. 4/14/06: The hatching was quite successful. Congratulations to everyone whose character impressed. For those who may want to create weyrlings with back-dated hatchlings from this clutch, there are still a few unclaimed dragons: 1 green, 3 blues, 2 browns and 1 bronze. 3/31/06: Recruitment contest is officially over. Congratulations Meg! 3/25/06: Recruitment contest! As you may know, the hardest part of starting a new Weyr is getting the first few people to join, so we've decided to run a contest to help promote membership. The details are simple: Become a member of Mirror Lake, then tell your friends about us. The first member to recruit 3 other people to join (they must be approved as members before they will count towards the total) Mirror Lake will be the winner of the contest. Be sure to tell recruits that when they send in their character they have to mention somewhere in the e-mail which member recruited them. The prize is that we will allow the winner to create Mirror Lake's only character who is able to communicate with all dragons. So if you'd like this opportunity, join up and see if you can snag the prize. 3/25/06: Mirror Lake is now officially open! Accepting new characters for all ranks and positions.
