NZ trip 05

I've always had amazing luck.  When I was travelling around the UK, a boy I'd met on the train invited me to stay with his family rather than stay in a hostel.  My friend tells me that if she'd taken that kind of chance, she would have ended up chopped in to little pieces by this psycho, but in my case, it turned out his family owned a zoo and I got to go in all the enclosures. I had never been to Canberra or Sydney, being a Perth girl, so in 2002 I applied for a couple of jobs over here, and got every one that I tried for.  I ended up being flown over for no expense and having my moving costs reimbursed.  Now I've seen it all. Continuing my quest to see all of Australia, in 2004 I accepted a position at a Melbourne prison and moved in to my St Kilda pad.  2004 also saw me swimming with the sharks at Seaworld (Brisbane), doing an Alice Springs/ Uluru/ Kings Canyon/ Olgas / Coober Pedy tour through the Red Centre, and culminating the year with a trip back to Perth for my sis' 21st. Its nearly mid-05, this year I've shacked up with the love of my life, Mikey (he's in the pix), and gone back to Uni to do my Masters.  Pix from my recent trip to NZ are uploaded.

I'm a Psychologist who has rapidly advanced in her burgeoning career, and who believes she can make an impact on the world through providing excellent mental health care. My greatest fear would be dying and leaving this life not having made a positive impact. This profile sounds so serious, but when I'm away from work I love to let my hair down and be spontaneous. I have my SCUBA licence and am about to do my Skydiving licence.  I appeared on 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire' in Feb 04.  I rarely spend time at home as I am always out with friends or at events for my many charitable organisations. I adore seeing live music (especially punk / ska).  However, I am trying to tone my lifestyle down a little and spend more nights at home with some wine and a DVD.

My family and friends are the most important thing in the world to me.
