| Priscilla Ann (Beaulieu) Presley was born in Brooklyn, New York on May 24, 1945 at 10:40 p.m. Her biological father Capt. James Wagner was killed and Paul Beaulieu adopted Priscilla. She grew up as an "army brat," and moved around a lot, as did many typical kids that grew up in a military family. Priscilla thought she was finally settled. Her and her family moved to Austin, Texas to Bergstrom Air Force Base. She was finally fitting in and had many friends. She was elected queen of Del Valley Junior High. One day when she returned home from school, she got the shocking news that she was going to move to Germany. It was out of the question for her, but was the "in" question for her parents. Little did she know, that this move was about to change her whole life forever, and she would be the most envied woman in the world for Elvis fans! She didn't like her first weeks in Germany and spent most of them at a local air force base hangout for military families. I believe Priscilla was the one woman who was put on this Earth for Elvis to love. But to me his true love was the stage and music. Priscilla was just a fan out in the audience and Elvis couldn't see what was happening. I believe Elvis' health started drastically diminishing after their breakup. It wasn't her fault. She had to live her life. She understood what the consequences were when she married Elvis, but Priscilla was human and needed to take control of herself. Of course Elvis is not to blame either. To me, Elvis is the greatest man and performer on Earth, even today 23 years after his death. Today Priscilla is as active as ever! She is a workingwoman, actress, mother, grandmother, and wife to Marco Garibaldi. Lisa Marie became a big (half) sister when Priscilla gave birth to Naverone Anthony Garibaldi, on March 1, 1987. In 1982 she allowed Graceland to be open and give the fans a chance to go inside their favorite celebrity's home. It is the second most visited house, next to the White House, in the world, with its 1 million dollar a year investment combined with music, movies and memorabilia. She has created many Elvis related accomplishments such as Elvis Presley's Memphis Restaurant. She has produced many Elvis related films such as "Elvis and Me" and "Finding Graceland, along with her writing skills with her success in "Elvis and Me," her personal memoir. She, Priscilla, continues to mesmerize the world with her acting ability in many movies. (The most famous being with Leslie Neilson in the Naked Gun comedies.) She also was voted as one of the Country’s most beautiful t.v stars because of portrayal on Dallas and making many television appearances.) Priscilla is president and co-executrix of EPE and currently sits on the MGM Board of Governors. (Elected position September 11 of 2000.) She has created her own lines of sweet smelling perfume and still looks good being the young age of 55, and has truly made her mark in today's pop culture history. |
