THE RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS VISITED IN FINLAND THE 30th AND THE 31th OCTOBER IN 1999
Both of the concerts were sold-out fastly and the gig was great! The lights went off and in the darkness you could heard the voice of the bass and the Californication- albumīs opening song Around The World started. Audience was good-humored. The hall was full of jumping people and the atmosphere was full of excitement and magic!
But the Red Hot Chili Peppers members didnīt give all their energy for playing and singing, maybe they were just tired. They have had a long tour behind them.
The concert took about half and an hour. The audience was just getting warmed and suddenly the concert was over. I think everyone was ready to hear the Red Hot Chili Peppersī songs some more.
On the 30th October, 1999 the band made a surprise gig to the Finlandīs famous rock klub, Lepakko. The band played about half and an hour with Pelle Miljoona and Billy Carson and the people were charmed! So one of the worldīs most popular rock band played for free. The surprise  was really pleasant to the audience. This concert was a great succes in Finlandīs rock history.
The bandīs guitarist, John Frusciante, left the place early. He didnīt like one of the singersī (Pelle Miljoona) strong interpretation and when the Red Hot Chili Peppers played Bob Marleyīs
No Woman No Cry they didnīt played it quite right. John Frusciante wasnīt  on the mood and walked away: he was frustrated.
