Heart to Heart Ministries

Pastor Downing�s applicable preaching, promoting and proving �the Word�
began January 3rd, 2004 and can be heard every Saturday on the Mission Gospel Train.
As a family man, husband of Mother Joyce Downing and the father of six children, Elder Downing�s desire to extend his love and service to the body of Christ began while serving under the leadership
of the late Bishop of W. E. Davis and Elder N.E. Jefferson.
In October of 1981, Pastor Downing accepted his call to preach the Gospel and in 1987 he
began his work at home. Later that year he was released by Supt. Leroy Cleaver to
form This Rock at 300 Elwood.
In October of 1998 the pastorate of the Love Sanctuary church was vacant. After a season of
teaching, giving, learning and growing, Pastor and Mother Downing were led
to seek God about unselfishly uniting This Rock and Love Sanctuary.
This chosen vessel of God is leading the Saints into a new era with the message of Jesus Christ!
