Jeremiah & Charity Horning

Jeremiah Horning was born April 23,1803
he married Charity Smith, the daughter of Edmond Smith and Mary Fischer, on December 20,1830, at the age of 27.

His bride, Charity, was born January 27,1812.  She was nine years younger than him.  Not bad for those days I guess.

They were married at Hannon, Glanford Township, Ontario, Canada.

Jeremiah died in 1886, at the age of 83.
Charity died in 1892, outliving him by 6 years.
He is buried in Hannon, at the Trinity United Church graveyard.

They must have had a good 56 years together, they raised 12 children.

The Children on record are;

Ira Smith ~ born April 9,1832 ~ died 1903

Edmund ~ born January 14,1834 ~ died February 6,1905
