Norman & Georgina Horning

Norman was born July 16,1883 in Tapleytown, Ontario.  He married his childhood sweetheart Georgina Tingey on November 10,1910.  She had gone west with the rest of her Family, and Norman & Georgina were married at Macklin, Saskatchewan where they took up a homestead.

They lived on that homestead , raised their 9 children until they retired and moved into the Town of Macklin, Saskatchewan.

Their Children were;

Douglas ~ born 1913 ~ died March 22,1987
Marguerite ~ born 1915 ~ resides in Vancouver, B.C.
John ~ born 1916 ~ also resides in Vancouver B.C.
Edward Norman(Ted) ~ born 1919 ~ resides Ottawa, Ontario
Ralph Edwin ~ born 1921 ~ died August 8,1985
Murray Edgar ~ born February 2,1927 ~ died March 28,1987
Cecil Clarence ~ born 1928 ~ died April 11,1983
Lawrence ~ born 1931 ~ resides Calgary, Alberta
Howard ~ born 1933 ~ resides Chetwynd, B.C.


Norman died at the age of 86, in Provost,  on September 3,1969 and Georgina died at the age of 78, also in 1969, not long after her husbands death.

They were both buried in Macklin Cemetery.
