MacGregor Santa Clause Parade & Fun Skate

Today I had the really cool opportunity to go out to this small town named MacGregor to participate in their Santa Clause Parade. This is the one and only parade that I know of that goes to the people, instead of people coming to it! We went all the way around the town and through almost all the streets to everyone's house. It was kinda neat.

I was lucky and I got to ride in the horse drawn sleigh with Santa. The town was really receptive and it was very nice to be welcomed like I was. After the parade ended, everyone ended up at the arena where there was a fun skate going on. I had brought my skates and went skating with the kids. It was kinda sad for me to be back on the ice because I was a figure skater for 13 years and then I had to quit. I did find out that I can still do my jumps and my spins to some degree and am thinking about maybe doing some more skating.

Anyways, the whole event was lots of fun and I would like to thank the Village of MacGregor for inviting me to participate!
