New Year's Eve 2001 @ The Forks

On New Year's, I had the amazing experience of hosting The Forks events for the night. What this included was introducing the several acts that were performing inside on The Market Stage as well as count down the seconds until midnight when fireworks went off.

The acts that went on were amazing! There was this one group, Anna Marie, and she is simply incredible. She is going to Calgary to record her second CD with Jann Arden's producers. As well, Robin Chestnut was there - for those of you who don't know, he is a comedian/juggler and I had the opportunity to meet him at my university orientation where he performed as well. Three Piece Suit was a band that is starting to find themselves, and they perform really well. I found that they haven't quite found their own sound yet, they try to copy some of the bigger and more famous bands. They were good however!
