Seven Days: 'Doppelganger II'

Frank must stop his evil twin from aiding in a hostile takeover of the United States government.

After getting over the irritation caused by the use of an evil twin (see part I), this episode is actually much more entertaining, as the real Frank returns in an attempt to complete his mission.

There are some great action sequences here, as the Seven Days crew try to get the best use out of their booked-out military hardware. Thus, helicopters, tanks and sundry military vehicles are the order of the day. On top of this, the work with two Parkers is well handled, with convincing fight scenes and some fun with the cast trying to work out who is who.

There's a great twist about halfway through as well, when 'our' Frank is killed, and the evil Frank backsteps, producing another duplicate. On the downside, this does create whole new problems. For instance, how come a new 'good' Frank is created? Shouldn't there now be two evil ones? Will there be any lasting effects on Parker, as he's now effectively a third of the man he was? Also, Frank doesn't really complete his mission as such. Apparently though, it doesn't matter as Seven Days is content to provide action and fun without thinking everything through. But the irritating thing is, as evidenced here, it does it so well you can forgive it.
