Seven Days: 'As Time Goes By'

Olga's husband backsteps from the future, arriving at the Project apparently to be reunited with his wife. But is there more going on here than the team realize?

Well of course there is. After all, why waste a chance to utilize a really good Sci-Fi cliché? As Time Goes By is predictable from start to finish. From the moment Olga's husband arrives, you know that he's going to do something really nasty, and he doesn't disappoint, wandering about with a big gun and blowing huge holes in things, including Ballard. Once again, there is not much chemistry between Olga and her husband, and the Russian backstep member should know better than to completely trust a man who behaves oddly from the start. Plus, whether she would be able to shoot her own husband is debatable, especially just on the basis of Frank waving a ring at her. The episode takes a while to get anywhere and everything is heavily signposted. It still has some moments of excitement, but it's all so obvious, it's tempting to turn off before the end.

Give this one a miss.
