Mews and Views Newsletter!!!!

(Yes we do have a name now..)

Hi All! Please forgive me I am way behind on getting out the second edition of my newsletter.

First let me say thanks to everyone who voted for the newsletter name..As you can see your votes have been tallied and the winner is Mews and Views which was submitted by Debra Hayes, she will be receiving an award soon for her homepage but I sure she wouldn't mind for you to visit her page BooBoo & Rileys Cat Page http://www.oocities.org/Heartland/Acres/8055/

Big kitty hugs and kisses go out to Mark and Ellen of The Purr-fect Place. They recently took in four cats and saved them from going to the rainbow bridge, which now puts there total number of cats to 13...I invite you to visit their homepage and meet all the cats and read about the wonderful work they do on behalf of Hugs for Homeless Animals. They have lots of other great things, including Mr. Frass's School of Feline Ninja Warriors.

**UPDATE** As i was about to send out this newsletter i found out some more current information about Mark and Ellen... Today they were able to find a wonderful home for their rescued Himi!!! And they were called to rescue again by a shelter they work with and they saved 2 tabbies, which puts them up to 14 kitties. And at this time they are also waiting to here news on another tabby that is in rabies quarantine, because she was scared of a dog in the Animal Control Van and bite the officer. They plan on taking her as soon as they get the ok... Such wonderful compassionate people,Mark, Ellen you deserve every bit of praise you get for doing such wonderful things for these cats.

For anyone who may have read a book called Chicken Soup for the Soul, I have wonderful news they now have a CHicken Soup for the Pet Lovers Soul. I have not read this book yet but plan on buying it asap. I have read 4 of the chicken soup for the soul books and have truely enjoyed reading them. I will give you a full report on this other book as soon as i get a chance to read it..But i am positive that it will be great..

Recently I have suffered the dreaded computer crashing (those two word are scary aren't they) and because of this I lost a number of email about site supporting the Stick It To-Em Spay/Neuter Campaign..I think i remember most everyone who has the banner up on their site but just to make sure if you have the banner up at your site please e-mail me with the location of the banner. I hope to have all sites that support this cause up by the end of the week.
