Introduction: Tekkaman is about a family who gets captured but an alien race. They get captured on a science trip to Jupiter. Once captured, they get put into Space Pods and are being mutated into Tekkaman and slaves for the aliens. The father (Slade’s father) starts to die during the transformation and gets rejected by the pod. Before he can die, he frees Slade (Slade is not completely mutated) and tells him to warn the people of Earth. After escaping the aliens and seeing his father die, Slade heads for Earth. At Slade’s arrival, he finds the people of Earth are being attacked by the aliens. Slade tries to help them but Slade hasn’t mastered his tekka-powers. He is easily beaten and is sent falling towards the Earth. Slade crashes on the Earth and is found by Ringo and Star. This is were Slade looses his memories and takes the name Slade (instead of Ness) and joins the Space Knights.
