Beta'a'ailes is somewhat of an oddity, bearing both the hooves of a terrestial animal and the plumes of an avian. Due to this, one is reminded somewhat of the pegasi of legend, for which it is named, Beta'a'ailes being French for "winged beast". The pastels of its plush are reminiscent of the vast expanse of skies this Di is frequently found roaming. It is also worthy of note that Beta'a'ailes is vegatarian, further completing her resemblence to a mythical equine. This is itself is somewhat odd, as her responsibilties include scavenging for food for the rest of the collection, none of whom are vegetarian. However, one would expect a true pegasi to have a soul...
