You step through a shimmering multi-couloured portal and emerge into a vaulted cavern. A single flickering torch illuminates it, casting dancing shadows on the opalene walls. Suddenly, some rainbow shards catch your eye. Kneeling to investigate, you turn the pieces over in your hands, noting that they are dry - it must have hatched some time ago. Behind you, you hear the click of claws on bare stone. Spinning rapidly and hastily dropping the shards, you realize that none other but the lovely creature before you could have hatched from such a fantastical egg. The half-grown dragon before you has a regal bearing, an impression which is further affirmed by the golden crown upon her brow...
