| Battlefield 1942 was made by EA, who have put much effort and time into this project. From my point of view, the multi-player is absolutely EXCELLENT! When a game is tested by game reviewers, it is usually dependant on the single-player aspect. Unfortunately, this game lives and dies in the multi-player.. Like I said above, it is absolutely EXCELLENT! You see the war through the eyes of a soldier, which can of course be changed to 3rd-person (Y IN THE HELL) but newayz, you get to choose between Allied or Axis forces, which change contry, depending on the map which are all based on famous battles (WWII) You can aslo enter vehicles, such as planes, jeeps, tanks and the occasional battleship. You can also take control of mounted guns and AA guns. EA GAMES have done an excellent job of the game, but unfortunately, the single player is very poor as the bots are so damn stupid and the require so much god damn computer resources, its not funny. |
