Hello again :^) I am still trying to organise this page according to the vision in my mind, so please bear with me. I plan to have, on this page, 2 links: Familia and Friends. For now, however, I would like to start you off with my humble beginnings...

My Grandmother, Alexandra Zarifeh (my namesake), in a Daguerotype, hand tinted, taken on her honeymoon in Paris in 1924.

My Granfather, Toufic Zarifeh, stands proudly behind his beautiful wife Alexandra and his two children Alecco, 8 years old, and Edgar, my father, seated too high for his 6 year old feet to touch the stool's platform.

This picture was taken in 1933 in Jaffa, Palestine, by the celebrated Armenian photographer N. Gamzu.

This photograph was taken in 1960, on my Aunt Samia's Graduation Day. My mother Suad stands to her right and my Uncle Samir to her left. Seated: my grandparents, Julia and Rafiq Hissen, brimming with pride and love.
