The Fisherman
This fisherman started out life as a Burger King toy as seen here. He is obviously over size even in 1:20.5. Left floating in our pond with little else immediately around him the size is not particularly noticeable or unpleasant.
The boat literally fell of the truck to me. As a result I do not know its origin. We were helping a neighbour take some furniture to the dump and the boat fell out of a dresser drawer. Since the neighbour is, well older, she suggested that her days of playing in the bathtub were behind her and that I was welcome to the boat. It was originally bright red and lacking any wood grain.
The bumper lying in the boat is a fishing weight. The weights are necessary to balance the boat when it’s floating in the pond. The fisherman’s vest is a rag soaked in white glue.
The bait bucket is the disposable cover off of a threaded rod. Its handle is a piece of wire with all but the center portion of the insulation removed.
