| Yes!! This is the section were you get to read my rants. If you don't like excessive reading, then this section isn't for you. But to make it easier, I'll divide my rant into paragraphs. :) Enjoy! |

| Obviously my opinion on AAML is positive, otherwise, why would I make a site dedicated to them? But you might WONDER why I like them. 1. They look cute together. 2. Their stubborness rubs off on each other. They hate each other so much that they love each other. 3. They interact normally. They don't flirt with each other. They're completely themselves. 4. Ash is too feminine, he need Misty to toughen him up. *big grin* 5. The feeling they have is in their hearts. They've seen each other at their worse and if they had a relationship nothing they do would turn off their partner. Ok ok ok, so you want some evidence. People tend to take EVERY single episode and stretch the times when Misty and Ash interact. For example: "OH MY GOD!! He LOOKED at her!!! That's true love!! Holy shit!!! Ash just talked to Misty and his voice sounds like he likes her!!!!" That's what I mean. It's exaggerated. Me? I tend to focus on the big things. I'll dish out some of them right now. Evidence #1: In the episode "Pokemon Ghost Tower", Haunter took Ash's spirit out of his body. A typical AAML fan would say "HOLY CRAP! Misty cried when he died!!!". My opinion "Well, if you're friend died, wouldn't YOU cry?? But I found a different piece of evidence. Ash came back and saw that Misty was very worried about him. He decided to go back because he wanted to continue his journey to become a Pokemon master, but also to be with Misty. Evidence #2: Here are some sayings proved true by these two lovebirds. 1. All's fair in love and war 2. You often hurt the one you love 3. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em 4. If you hang around someone long enough, you'll grow to love them 5. If a guy trashed your bike, fall desparatly in love with him. (Ok ok ok, I was just kidding. Heheheh) Oh YEAH!! By now, I hope you ALL realized I'm Anti-Pikachu. I HATE that electric rat to death. *stranggles the nearest Bitchu (Pikachu). Anyway, you ever notice whenever Ash and Misty are about to have a sweet moment together, Pikachu is always there to be in the shot?? *stab stab stab* That yellow potato is in almost every AAML shot!! Evidence #3: Here's another thing. Ever notice that whenever there's a crisis, Ash and Misty are grabbing onto each other?? Not as much as Jessie and James but enough to show something special. Misty usually grabs onto Ash. She only grabs onto Brock if Ash isn't within arm's reach. Ash on the other hand keeps calling out "Are you ok Misty?". He puts Misty before Brock all the time. Evidence #4: In the episode where Ash goes to battle the second Orange Island Gym Leader, Danny, Ash shows a little bit of jealously. A typical AAML fan would say "Misty is flirting with Danny so Ash will get jealous." My opinion "Ok ok ok, so that part is true. And other thing too, when Ash and Danny got to the top of the mountain, Misty exclaimed "Haha!! You're here!!!" And runs towards them with open arms. Ash saw Misty and opened his arms to embrace her. But Misty pushed past Ash and gushed over Danny. This made Ash really jealous." Evidence #5: In the episode "Misty Meets her Match" (I'll never forget this one, it's my fave episode), Misty almost left Ash to be with Rudy. But in the end, love conquers all and she stays with Ash. A typical AAML fan would say "*faints*" My opinion "*faints but gets up* Hehehe, well Misty seriously thought about leaving in this episode. After she saved a little girl's life, Rudy the big brother stepped in and showered Misty with gifts, attention and affection. This made Ash mad with jealousy. Rudy invited Misty to dinner and when they got up to dance, he asked to to stay with him. Rudy's little sister encouraged it too. All that was seen was Misty's watery eyes. She was to give her decision after the pokemon gym battle between Rudy and Ash. During the battle, Rudy dedicated a dance to Misty in front of everyone. Ash fought hard and almost lost, he was about to give up when, DA DA DA DA!!! Misty to the resuce! "ASH WHAT ARE STANDING THERE FOR? YOU BEAT RUDY ONCE YOU CAN DO IT AGAIN!!" Ash, of course, was shocked and showed no appriciation while Rudy gasped "She wants him!" In the end, Misty stayed with Ash. Rudy was being a gentleman and told Ash "You're a very lucky man, Ash". A clueless Ash replied, "Why?" "You'll find out soon enough." Rudy commencted as Misty stood smiling. ATTENTION: The next part contains spoilers from the Pokemon Movie 2000! To read it, highlight the parts between the dotted lines: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Moment #1: When Ash first reached the island, a pretty girl names Melody came over and gave Ash a so-called traditional welcoming kiss. Well, let's just say Misty freaked. And if that wasn't enough, Melody asked her if she was his sister. Of course, Misty said no. Then Melody had the nerve to ask if she was his girlfriend. Number 1: If she WAS Ash's girlfriend, I hope she noticed she KISSED Ash which would've been Misty's guy!!! Number 2: Melody was obviously rubbing it in Misty's face!!! If I were Misty, I would've smacked the bitch. Moment #2: At the ceremony, Melody got Ash all worked up about being the Chosen One, Ash asked Misty if she wanted to go. Still fuming about Melody's comment, she snapped back "If you want someone to do whatever you want, whenever you want, you should get yourself a girlfriend!" This obviously showing her jealousy. Moment #3: This isn't exactly an AAML moment but it was funny. After another teasing session from Melody, Team Rocket interrupted. Jessie: When you're dealing with the opposite sex, you're asking for trouble. James: And that's the trouble I stay out of! Meowth: Yous two don't need the opposite sex cuz yous guys got each other! Hehehe... that's funny. Moment #4: Near the end, Ash falls into the ice cold water. Misty comments to Melody "And Ash is never really alone because he's got... me..." with a grim smile. Then Misty goes off to save Ash from drowning. After she got him on shore, she panted, "Come on Ash, wake up don't-" I'm pretty sure she was gonna say "Don't leave me". I was FURIOUS as Ash's response after he got up. "THE SPHERE!!" I wanted to punch him. Grrr... But this is the part where I thought Misty was gonna give him CPR/AR or something. :) Ash later fell into the snow and Misty helped him up. He put a hand on her shoulder and kept walking. I dunno why but this seemed like such a nice moment for both love or friendship. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So I guess this is it. If you really read everything thx. And I hope I didn't get you guys too mad with all that. Hehehe. I just think Ash and Misty are a really cute couple. Now, let's say we go back?? :) |
