In Lab Hours:  9:30 am - 4:10 pm

We worked on the GPIBs again today.  Actually we made quite good progress with determining the commands.  That took most of the first half of today.  Then just before lunch time, they lent each of us a copy of some textbook they use in the circuits course here so we could all do some reading up on MOSFET type transistors.  So we sat in the lunchroom and ate our lunch and read the textbook until we were all going crazy from reading that stuff.  We decided that we all could just go home and read some more rather than just sitting around reading there.

I'm SO glad I'm not majoring in electrical engineering.  I don't see how anyone can get any enjoyment out of this stuff... but I guess that's why people are different and have different interests.  If I don't get anything else out of this RISE experience, I've determined that I'm at least glad I'm not majoring in electrical engineering.
