Hours at Work:  9:00am - 5:30pm

Before lunch today, Lindsay and Maria were both working on their handouts for their demonstrations.  So, after I printed my handouts and there was an empty computer, I actually started working on our presentation since we were informed yesterday that we are to present at the weekly lab meeting next Tuesday.

We went to the weekly Wednesday cookout at the Dairy for lunch... mmm.. good cookout!

After lunch, half of the RISE level one girls were coming to our lab.  The first half hour was used to show them our stations that we had set up for the previous high school groups.  Then, they split up into small groups to build one of the three circuits we had designed for them to make.  Pamela let them pick which one they wanted to do...and noone picked my cute little circuit.  Oh well...

By the time all of them left it was on towards 3:20 and a bunch of us decided to go stop for ice cream at the Dairy on our way to the Missy Cummings reception.  Missy Cummings is the author of the book that I and most of the people in my program read for the 'book club'.  Actually, once I finished the book, I actually emailed her myself to tell her why I had been reading her book and that I truly enjoyed it... which is what prompted her coming here.  It was a very interesting talk.

It ended around 5:30 pm and she signed books and got her picture taken a few times... Kristin took our picture together, so when she posts that up... So will I!

Now, for a normal evening... I think a little guitar playing is in order, along with some chatting online and possibly watching a little bit of a movie I started last week.  Until tomorrow - Adieu!
