Well, I made it back to Vinton yesterday. Not without excitement though! While still at UMD, we got a parking ticket while we were loading up the car with all the stuff from my apt. Then, my car broke down on I81. Luckily, it was only about a half hour away from Vinton and my aunt (who was traveling with us) had AAA. So we called for a tow truck (AAA gives you a certain amount of miles of free towing) and called my dad.... and eventually made it back to Vinton.

The phone lines in our house were dead though.... and it was storming and stuff... but my dad went out to pick my brother up from a party and couldn't make it back into Vinton the same way he left.... The basement at our house also flooded....

Exciting stuff, eh?

But for now, I have a ton of boxes sitting all over my room... so I must tend to the chaos.
